This town is famous for its abbey, founded in the 11th century. The abbey is a striking example of Medieval architecture, but it isn't the only example in Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives. The Market Hall was built in the 11th century and shows what life looked like back then, when the monks would sell to the locals. If you can, visit on a Monday when there is an open-air market.
